Hello Guys, i hope this comment will come to help for many others regarding the dependent visa queries.
I am on student visa and i applied for PSW on December 22nd 2023, as well as applied visa for my dependent too after my visa application, i was notified to pay only £312 as IHS surcharge fee for the dependent. I got my decision on Jan 1st 2024 and on the same day got a payment top up link for the dependent. Made the payment on Jan 2nd and was waiting for the decision of my partner. The BRP expiry date was on Jan 20th.
On Jan 21st got the decision for my partner. So in total it took 19 days after the topup payment for the decision to come.
This is what happened in my case. Hope this help others too. Cheers!

Hello! I came to the UK with my wife in December 2022 on the study-dependent visa route. At that time my wife was on a student visa. During the studies, our 4-year-old child also came to the UK on a dependent child visa. Later, due to some personal reasons, he had to be sent to India. After some time, I also came to India to take care of him. Currently, my wife is in UK on the graduate visa route.
So, if I and my baby have lived together in UK on student dependent visa and are currently in India, can we apply for a dependent graduate visa?

I applied for my husband student dependent visa in nov and he got his visa on 25th Nov.. our student visa end date is 26th Jan 2024.. I have applied for my graduate visa and my husband will come to uk on 9th jan 2024 to apply for his graduate dependent visa. Can you please tell me if we need to apply for his graduate dependent visa without brp as I have heard that they don’t issue brp for 2 months. Also please send explain to me the whole application process without brp..

hi is dependent can apply for his psw visa when the main applicant received his. or before getting main applicants visa . because you put graduated on visa status you have right now when you are applying for your dependent.
