As a retired professor, inclusion has so dumbed-down graduate programs in areas outside the sciences, the quantitative, data/research-driven disciplines where truth is still sought. We have promoted those who have no idea what truth really is; rateher, they spout nonsense, “subjective truth, ’ as truth is what you want it to be. If they teach diversity, equity, and inclusion, then they also need to realize the hypocrisy of not allowing absolutely everything and everyone who disagrees, contradicts, and doesn't like you, or else it is hypocrisy. Their "inclusion" is very selective, and therefore, it is exclusive. Why teach something that you cannot follow yourself? Why would anyone want to follow someone who cannot do it themselves?
