[JP] DFFOO: Y’shtola BT Showcase (Y'shtola BT Lufenia)

Y’shtola has finally obtained her LD and BT and I’m very happy! She also received a nice little rework which gave her a good boost. Her rework added healing to Medica II and made it not take up a turn as well. Stone is now 4 hits and batteries the party.

Her LD is Holy of the Seventh Dawn, an AoE brv + HP attack (100% damage) that unbreaks all enemies beforehand. This also grants her “Blood Lily” and she gets a stack of it whenever HP or BRV is recovered for herself (so pretty much all of her actions kek).

While under 3 stacks of Blood Lily, Y’shtola’s BRV+ becomes Aero II, a 4-hit AoE brv + HP attack with split HP damage. When she’s at 3 stacks of Blood Lily, it turns into Afflatus Misary, a 2-hit AoE brv + HP attack initiated 3 times and consumes the Blood Lily stacks afterwards.

Y’shtola’s post BT effect grants to the party: 50% Atk up, 30% Stolen Brv Overflow, Max BRV DMG Cap +20%, HP Damage Dealt Up 20%

This is a pretty intense fight. The Count Steams hit very hard HP-Dmg wise, having powerful BRV-gain + brv + aoe hp attacks that goes through HP reduction.

At 80% and 50%, the Count Steams will cleanse all debuffs, become immune to all debuffs, and lock their turns. They will then do a 60k BRV gain HP Atk on the character with the HIGHEST HP. Even if they act back to back, the second kraken will change targets to the next person with the highest HP. This is NOT a guaranteed hit, so you can use Galuf to dodge it or use Gladio’s LD alongside Paladin Cecil to tank it (I think the attack ignores buffs that reduces HP damage taken).

[Increase Condition] Count increases by 5 when healing at least 50% HP (Max: 25)

This, alongside the fun Alisaie is having beating down baddies both in 5.3 and DFFOO serves me a good time with XIV characters.
Finally DFFOO gets Medica II right this time, and they implemented WHM's Blood Lily system so perfectly into her too. God forbid how long we endured a Medica II without its healing powers.
Also the turn count is so tight for the HP they have, jeez! You even barely made it!

Wish you had her Heavensward outfit though. She literally evolves to ultimate neko waifu :D

Nice run man, I've got literally no idea what Y'shtola is using with her attacks since my 14 knowledge is non existent, but she looks pretty nice now kit wise. Her longevity is insane now and even in Global right now, she's still one of the best burst healers in the game with that EX of hers. Giving her even more methods to battery and heal while also get rid of that brave was just what the doctor ordered.

Ngl gives me hope for the cucked god himself someday. They're doing some great stuff with these LD weapons and reworks so...I'm just praying man lol.

Anyways, nice vid dude and using the 14/Nier collab theme was a nice touch too. I never get tired of hearing that one!

Yo this rework is pretty lit imo, really puts her in line with actual XIV whm in terms of healing when necessary/it's free to do and dishing out the damage in between. Compared to the rest of the XIV characters she's always felt a bit divorced from her source gameplay wise.
