Started wearing all of them since 1979… the Samba was advertised as an indoor soccer shoe, the handball special for what his name says and the gazelle was the cheaper brother of the handball spec. The gazelles sole is too soft, the samba leather is too rigid ( for me), the handball spec. will always be my no.1; in navy with light blue stripes…❤

Thanks to your channel, I rediscovered two pairs of the Gazelle Indoor (black & white) in my cellar a few weeks ago. I had forgotten about them, but now I wear them a lot. Thanks Harry!

The good thing about adidas trainers is that they are timeless they never go out of fashion. Similar with Nikes. I have a pair of blue handball spezials and they’re probably my favourite adidas to date. I’ve had the superstars and gazelles in the past but I think the handballs are the best.

Can’t put my finger on it but spezial just look good on me compared to the other two.
I was somewhat hesitant initially because I see them everywhere, but I’ve come to love my black spezials.

Spot on regarding your verdict on the Sambas. I've got a bit of wide feet and felt that tightness around the middle part as well as the rubbing against my ankle at the time I was breaking them in. Comfort has improved somewhat after multiple uses, thankfully. And finally, I wholeheartedly agree with the comfort factor on the Gazelles, though I'm basing this on the classic non-indoor Gazelles, and they're the ones I can comfortably slip on without having to untie the laces. Alas, I've never had the Spezials but am currently looking at a black/gray Cordura pair and perhaps may treat myself with them for Christmas, lol. Kudos as always to your video and enjoy the holidays.

The fact is these silhouettes are the greatest of all time. The Samba itself sold more than 35 millions pair worldwide since 1949. The number just keeps rising. And because soccer or football is the most popular sport in the world. It got even better. I wore the Sambas before the pre hype era. My first 3 sambas were all collabs and man they are a rarity now. One of them from Pharrell Williams, Starcow and Livestock.

I think the green ones are the most beautiful, specially with this indoor sole. I've just got them from Asos and I love them. Mine also came without the white laces.

For me, Spezial are just that little bit wider across the toes and it makes a world of difference. Candy coloured Gazelles are the prettiest tho

I like the busenitz. I feel like it’s a similar style with a bit more of a difference and they dont sell out so fast, and have different colorways. I have two pairs. A green and black pair, and a white and pine pair. They are probably some of my favorite shoes.

i had a pair of busenitz years ago and i been wanting another pair again. theyre a skate shoe and have that big tongue like the samba OGs and suede upper that gives it a more refined look, plus padding so theyre not rough on the heels

I’ve always loved sambas while one of my brothers wears almost exclusively gazelles. We each love a different silhouette I’ve had a friend tell me she thought they looked like bowling shoes, but I love them and have all ways found them effortlessly chic. The point is find which you like and is comfortable and wear them. The heel tab in sambas is a bit higher just mush it around and it will soften up also a bit of alcohol before initial break in wears helps them out. I find often people fail to realize that even though it’s a sneaker it is leather and the material will soften with wear.
