They're also incredible versatile, especially the black pair. They fit with streetwear outfits, but since they're leather, have a darker sole, and have gold detailing, they can also be worn with smarter outfits in place of something like chelsea boots

The Samba as a casual sneaker dips in and out of fashion. The popularity ebbs at times, but inevitably comes back at some point. This is exactly why Adidas has never discontinued the shoe.

When I was in 4th grade, probably 10% of the kids at my school were wearing them. That was 30 years ago.

I have the black with the gum sole right now. I’ve had them since 2020. I want a pair of Sambas that has the black leather, white stripes, and white sole. However, they only sell that color combo in juvenile sizes for some reason. You have to get Gazelle’s to get the black leather, white stripes, and white sole combo for adults.
