Should they disband while they have the chance?

I love the idea of Hush getting caught up in playing with all his little paper cutouts and forgetting to actually plot anything

Jeffery Combs as the Question was the best.

Sasha: "They're seemingly simplifying it to just Hush 2 to make the marketing easier, even though this is like the 4th or 5th Hush story."
Kingdom Hearts Fans playing KH3, the 12th game in the series: "First time, huh?"

S: “This series is partially in respect to the **20th anniversary** of the original animated series…”

Me: “…no.. 20 years? Really? Crap. I need a drink.”

It would be fun if Hal mirrored Green Lantern in the first JSU episode…
Hal: there’s no way I’m joining this team
* see’s Star Sapphire
Hal: on the other hand, it might be a good idea lol

Mark Waid has been identified in many DC documentaries as the "DC Comics Historian" and there have been few writers since Marv Wolfman and James Robinson who more fully embraced using multiple members of DC's vast and far-reaching cast at once, especially the more obscure ones. I don't think you need to worry about Mark being able to successfully juggle hundreds of heroes at once without making the ridiculous mistakes that tarnished Wally West's good name and gold boots.

Who else kept humming the JLU intro as soon as they started reading? Hope it's not just me.

I loved the Huntress x Question relationship in JLU! And while I also loved that JLU bounced around and displayed less prominent/well-known characters (Patriot Act in season 3 being a standout), I personally could've used a few more episodes starring Black Canary, Green Arrow, the Question, and Huntress a la Double Date

Not gonna lie, forgot they were gone. Titans, maybe next time you'll get some more love... I guess.
Loving the Yor Forger type hair... But with the white streak.

I loved seeing there is a special room dedicated to the Justice Society! The more exposure those heroes get, the better!

The Bruce Timm animated universe is my all time favourite cartoons.

I'm glad they brought in Star Sapphire. Ive wanted to see more of her as a hero since Lego Batman 3.

Very new comic reader here with honestly minimal super hero knowledge in general.

Read this issue last night and was super intrigued by the plot twist at the end! All I was thinking when I heard of the concept was, well this can’t go well, letting everyone join means someone is gonna come and ruin it for sure 😂

Would love to see tons of different hero’s getting involved as issues progress. Will definitely be picking up the next issues!

The Flash tour of the situation is very clever writing IMO. It uses Airwave not being given enough time to absorb the information as a buffer for new readers. A subtle hint that you aren't expected to know everything right off the bat.

What I'm MOST excited for in this series is the fact that Carol Ferris is Star Sapphire again and she is actually a part of the Justice League instead of being a villain or a side character in the Green Lantern mythos. I've always wanted more for her and the Violet Lantern Corp as a whole, so I'm looking forward to seeing Carol develop as a hero along side other heroes.

Worth pointing out that 2/2 appearances for Tuatara since the New 52 have been this month.
Finally New Zealand's like one DC hero's coming up Milhouse!

I like that we get to see every superhero be active to save the world from various threats after Absolute Power. I also like that we get to see Harold Jordan Airwave see all of the heroes working together and see all of the rooms the Watchtower has, including rooms for the JLA, JSA, Titans, Challengers of the Unknown, Superman Family, Atom Project, and others. I even like that Bruce and Jaime (after their interactions in the 2006 Blue Beetle run) worked together to deal with something, while Clark, Diana, Jefferson, Ace (since he’s not doing anything interesting in the Flash books), Carol (who’s new to becoming a superhero, even though she has been since Blackest Night in 2009), and Ronnie (after what happened in Lazarus Planet) dealt with a new villain group called the Inferno. I feel bad that, after working with the JLU, Harold (who might be working for the Inferno) had to be the one to kill them. Let’s hope that he’ll tell him the truth and why he had to do it in the next issue.

Mark Waid and Dan Mora has done an excellent job on marking a new status quo for the JLU. This includes Mark Waid’s writing on the superheroes and Airwave and Dan Mora’s art (which is brilliant as always). Overall, this comic is great, off to a good start, and a way to celebrate the Justice League’s 65th anniversary! Also, JLU tv show homage in the intro page, which is epic and exciting (more if you imagine the JLU theme when reading this comic)!
