If my LLC is registered in TX can I add a dba in a CA courthouse? Or does it need to be in the same state as the LLC is registered?

No one does this for tax lol, when you have multiple products you want one company to manage, in India we have gst tax as per each product category, so it doesn’t even matter, you pay tax on your category. Already said at initial stage easy to have one company, common marketing employees etc, easy to manage, don’t care about lawsuits. Meta, Microsoft also have one company and multiple products in different categories

I thought main llc name can be Orion energy and other products can have names from dba like brands. Don’t care about liabilities, no one gonna sue me and pros outweighs than cons. Pros of common marketing teams, engineers save way more costs than having fear of getting sued (liabilities)

Question so when starting a LLC and then you sign up for a business account and also on your IRS EIN do you put your business name along with the initial LLC or can you leave the LLC off and just put your business name just wanted to know to make sure documents are correct
