The one time $500 won’t help with housing. We need to reduce carbon tax for gasoline & utilities.

Canadian economy is ruined by a bunch of politicians. Its budget has never been balanced for over decades. Politicians offer incentives to the voters on one hand for their own benefits but charging extra taxes afterwards to fill up the shortfall. GDP increased only on normal terms by raising price level within the country, but generate no extra real growth on economy in the global level.

Dental care would be covered by insurance if we had nice employment here, but we wouldn't want that, would we?

I'm sorry but the focus on "housing" doesn't sound like housing at all--it sounds like help for "home ownership1" Housing includes renting, government housing, nursing homes, basically anywhere people live. Where is the help for actual HOUSING?

All house flippers selling within 1 year of ownership, if you will be taxed as business income treat the project as a Business. Write off all expenses/losses of the renovation-ownership and get a good accountant to help with this. You may be paying much less tax than the government intended. 😄
