It is obvious that the officer was concerned about your safety and acted in a clumsy way. Nothing deeper than that.

The copper is clearly trying to keep that fella safe, even if he’s phrased his point really poorly. He’s trying to keep the peace.
It ain’t easy these days.

It's sad to see what's happening in Britain.

But if the well intended police officer said Muslim instead of Jewish, these same hypocrites would've said the opposite.

I think it is outrageous that the police had to apologise twice.
The policeman was doing his job asked the guy to not go the way he wanted to go incase he walked into an hostile environment.
The man was adamant he was going the way he wanted to go and the police said no.
Nothing for the police to apologise for
The police have an extremely difficult job to do and they really require the support from the government and citizens they do not get that.
The police force have great difficulty in recruiting if carries on like this police will leave in droves. Rightly so
This was not about Jews or Palestines this man made it about that.

There are many more Jwsh people in that protest than are with Gideon's C.A.A.S counter-protest. So why should Gideon's lot get to shut down all the other Jwsh people's right to protest? Tell me that, please?

The officer was bending over backwards to accommodate this man who comes across as having an agenda. Perhaps the officer’s wording was unfortunate but no harm was meant or done. No one should lose their job

Playing the expired victim card. Then filling your diaper when it doesn't go your way.

He's just walking there with his bodyguards and camera crew. Obviously he's not intending to provoking mass brawl.

He already crossed the street twice. He was trying to agitate.
He was there with multiple soldiers of his Organisation

Gideon makes me physically sick. The overweening entitlement is palpable in his every utterance 🤮

This to seems to me like a setup, the guy is not just a regular guy going to shul, but an activist, he's wants to cause trouble and one slip of the tongue from the police officer gave him what he wanted. Now it's all over the news!

Police officer was perfectly polite and simply trying to avoid any potential causes of friction between two sets of demonstraters.... which is what the police are supposed to do?
