Insurance fraud is rampant in Florida. I'm replacing the roof on my house. My friend said to me, why aren't you going through your insurance company. I said because I don't want to commit Insurance Fraud. It's selfish greedy people causing problems for us all

That doest mean a new insurance company will cover a roof 15 years old. So you are stuck with your old company and double your rate. They did nothing as usual.

15 years??? Sounds like this solution will create a lot of business for ROOFERS! However, turns out that the adopted bill also says that if your roof is older than 15 years, they cannot drop your coverage if an inspector determines that your roof has useful years left. People will also be able to get a roof deductible which means you should be able to get reasonable coverage for catastrophic damage.

THIS IS A JOKE>>>> Nothing was done at all. Asking a attorney who sues insurance compaines is totally rediculous. All involved in these insurance claims are at fault for these issues. The reform did nothing but give a chance for insurance companies to increase their premiums. This was a complete waste of tax payers money. People need to stop this crap with claiming basic mainanence items on thier insurance. If home owners would have fixed issues by having routine maintanence then insurance compaines wouldn't be looking at water heaters or other basic appliances. Its fruitless until someone smart figures this is the problem especially when Florida has a hugh amount of claims with no hurricane.
