I had a kid get “tripped” (stick was nowhere near the kids feet) and he fell and proceeded to roll around injured... so me being the “ultra observant” ref I am just looked at the kid told him “nice try”. Then the kid flips over on his stomach slams The ice with his stick and skates away... and that’s one of my favorite stories from when I was a ref.... I miss that job... I miss hockey
