Your video are very important for Russian learners, because you have marked the stress on every vowel (when there are more than 1 vowel). My Russian friend told me that I must pronounce the stress to sound more like Russian. Thanks for your videos. They are very helpful to make use of the time during this quarantine.

It's popular to trash Putin these days but after the fall of the Soviet Union Russia went into a slow tail spin and crashed, it was painful to see the hunger and despair in Russian peoples eyes. Putin picked up the pieces and put Russia back together again in a new way. He has done an awesome job. Here in the states we have a comedy of 'free elections' that supposedly changes the government heads but that is just a veneer. The people that run the country make up a small plutocracy of perhaps sometimes sharp but often not very nice people.
Oh, I almost forgot Kristina, I watch your videos and find them useful, thank you for your dedication.

с отличием = with honors (academic honors, I found it's the translation for magna cum laude)
заместителем мэра (мэр) = заместитель means deputy, but I'd like to know in this case would it be a mayor's assistant???
главой (глава) = the head or chief of something
должности (должность) = position
обвинили (обвинить) = to accuse
завоевал (завоевать) = to win, conquer
захватив (захватить) = to occupy
вмешательство = interference, meddling
