I understand this is an heavy movie but outside of it please be careful of the realities you choose to ignore because it doesn't make you feel "good". History is kept for us to not repeat the same mistakes.

This looks like an incredible film but it might be too heavy for me to watch

I’m going to support. I’m tired of burying my head in the sand due to difficult subject matters. I’m gonna watch this.

The fact that it's a true story....my stomach can't even handle the trailer.... I'm too sad to be angry

*Bleaching cream has reached epidemic proportions in Africa.* Especially in amongst women. Stay beautiful.

This was one of the best films that I watched this year. It became even better in my eyes when I remembered it was based on a true story. It's not your typical white oppressor-black victim story so don't be afraid to watch it. At the end of the day, this was just one eye opening story of how hating yourself can lead you down a seriously dark path. This was the story of one young man, all the other children who were farmed have their own.

That’s going to be a depressing thing to watch

Wow! I'm floored that this was going on not too long ago. It amazes me all the different types of horrifying issues black people go thru around the globe.

I will watch this because I am a black woman. Of Jamican descent as opposed to Nigerian, but Black History has never not been pleasant. I'm ready for whatever emotions I may feel throughout and afterwards. It is an education.

The main guy is also a main character from a US show called Snowfall. A great actor, fan of the director and I'm Nigerian so of course I'm watching this.

This dude was so neglected, abused, and traumatized that I'm surprised he was even stable enough (alive even!) to tell his story. This was a sick sick flick!!

Finally a story about these children. I heard they are/were labelled 'Omo Elizabeth'.

It will be depressing to watch!😭😭😭

Good to see that AAA is telling his story and I am proud his the director! 😊

I don't understand why people are saying "this is too sad to watch". Yes, it is. And a lot of people had to actually LIVE it. To reject a real story that needs to be told is what is really sad to be honest.
I will watch this movie, because all the people who were made to feel less but became brave enough to tell their stories deserve to be acknowledged.
" This is too sad to watch" GTFOH
Funny thing is though, people will line up to watch a hundred slave movies, but something this close yo home, an issue that foreshadows a lot of what black people are going through RIGHT NOW all over the world becomes "too heavy". Smh

This was a great film, very emotional . A big respect to those nigerian children who were farmed out during that time and for those caribbean children who were similarly left here in England while their parents went back home.
