Ugh! It’s so hard to cut off all of my roses. Seems like the best solution though. Thank you for sharing!

I have oh so many roses…. 🙋‍♀️If the thrips are gone when the roses are blooming, why does cutting off the roses help? 🙋‍♀️. I LOVE your videos!

I’ve watched tons of videos on here today and none of them were as good as this one. Straight to the point, which I absolutely love and very informative. This is also the first video that said the thrips would most likely be gone by the time we noticed the damage on the roses. You’re also the only person to suggest cutting off the roses and throwing them out. This seems like the technique that would probably work the best. My question is do we need to cut off the rose blooms that look ok to? Or just the ones that are obviously damaged? Do we also have to take off the new buds? Or just the older buds? It’s gonna be so hard taking off all my flowers and buds😱☹️😢

I'm located in Perth, Western Australia and have 60 heritage rose bushes. I'm in my third Summer of fighting Chilli Thrips. Urgh!! 😢 These become resistant if I use one product. I use both systemic product in soil and apply pesticide weekly during summer. Their breeding cycle is every two weeks. I'm exhausted.
