1. Launch Excel, go to open and locate corrupted Excel file.
2. Expand Open menu, select "Open and Repair".
3. Confirm and check if your file is repaired.

Method 2: Change File Extension
Excel documents created on older computers or versions of Excel become unstable on newer versions; similarly, Excel documents can be saved in many different file formats. So, try to change the Excel file format.
