“It’s a double rainbow, all the way— oh my god, almost a triple rainbow” 🥹🥲

Thank you for this video!👍🏻 Weird thing is that I got a 4' Double Rainbow unit a while ago but had spotted some serious problems with its abnormally weak blue channel in RGB mode, which caused --
1) its pure blue looking a lot more violet than any other RGB fixture's pure blue (including Quasar Science's own original rainbow line)
2) its cyan preset looking far more bluish-green than greenish-blue (or something in the middle) since the light's green channel is so much stronger than its blue channel (more than 3 stops brighter), which wasn't a problem with the original Quasar rainbow tube's cyan preset.
3) very noticeably ungradual stepping in its overall brightness (or even flicker-like) when displaying rainbow pixel effect in 48 pixel groups (as opposed to my other pixel tube fixtures' rainbow effect that can transition into/out from blue a lot more smoothly), although the issue is slightly less visible after lowering the number of its pixel groups.
4) just the nearly unusable level of dimness in its blue channel in general, cuz I don't see a point in using this "100w" tube for blue light when it can be almost overpowered by two 5w Aputure MC's or easily overpowered by one 40w Aputure T4c tube's blue light.
I first thought that I simply got a faulty unit, but after spotting the exact same problems in the subsequent two replacement units from Quasar Science as well as in the demo unit at my local film gear retailer I've come to believe that it's actually a common problem with this whole product line, despite how perfect every reviewer I've seen on YouTube claims it to be. So I'm just wondering if you happen to also experience the same issues with your units or if you think I'm just looking at it wrong?🤔🤗

Fantastic review. I especially appreciated the breakdown of the Osmium Mounting System and Accessories. Was looking for that!

FINALLY Garrett, I was suppose to rent out 2 of the quad 4' q50r's last week, but shoot got cancelled (Covid). There aren't much reviews/great commentary on the Quasar Rainbow lights. I didn't know how beastly these things could be, great video!

Good video but Astera Titan tubes battery life is not 1 hr 45. The minimum is like 4 hours at 100%. I was on a set an we left them on over night at around 32% and they were still running the next day. They are rated to last up to 20 hours.
