Isn't 48 mins for fries a long long time for french fries?

Its getting quite large now for a bench top and is about the size of a microwave oven. That will require a permanent location on a much needed kitchen benchtop. It seems like a good idea, but the fan is still 1700w power just the same as a single fryer, however now that heat is being split between 2 zones so it will take longer for food to cook when using both at the same time.

I don't like how the manual tells you the recommended times and temperature, but doesn't tell you what function is recommended (eg Do I air fry my meats or roast, or even bake?) Does the manual assume everything is basically on air fry function?

Why does manual say more cook time in two basket mode compared to one basket mode?
Both have their own temperature adjustment.
Example
Hand cut fries says for one basket 400c for 19-24 min.
For two basket it says 400c for 35-40 min
One basket or two they are both at 400c, so cook time should not matter.

I don't understand, 48 minutes is a very long time for frozen fries isn't it?

It worked out fine toasting bagle and english muffins but not very well on toasting bread. Air fryer mode 5 minutes at 350 it not only didn't brown the bread but blow it around something my old air fryer didn't do. The smart finish worked but end results on the bread was poor. I need to try bagle on smart finish but think dual basket cooking will be its weakness

Got same one 2 basket on Friday. Family says its easy to use. It just looks very complicated to use. I have been reading instructions & watching videos but still looks complicated

Mine has 2 fans to circulate the air. That's why it is called an Airfrier. Did you lose the blades?

In the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air fryer the crisp plates have like black silicone edges you can take off, are we supposed to take those off?
