As For Mitsuki,
Orochimaru has been hiding a very deep secret about Mitsuki's sage mode, the reason Mitsuki could not control the sage mode like a Gedo Statue. I will explain this.

In order for a person to be able to be the Jinchuriki of the ten tails they need to have both Senju and Uchiha powers or the Sage of Six Paths, or there I say it, Otsutsuki Powers. Orochimaru and Toneri forsaw the arrival of the Otsutsuki, that is why they planned together. Yes you heard me right, this is something even the Otsutsuki could not do, that is why they used planets a the medium to be able to absorb chakra, as absorbing chakra directly from the sun is something that even they could not handle, so they rather used planets as a way to dilute that energy and absorb it that way, hence planting divine trees in planets then harvesting them, but the true source is from the sun (Photosynthesis and all that but I am not trying to go through the entire science behind it). When the tree has now absorbed the Divine Chakra from the Sun, it is now left for Mitsuki to eat the fruit that it bares and absorb the tree itself, with this, a completely broken power is introduced, makes Damon and Kawaki or even Ishiki look like kids.
