Martin 000-28EC 1197575

The Martin 000 needs little introduction as it's been one of the most popular guitars of all time. The Eric Clapton Signature Model 000-28EC has made quite a name for itself as well and this one is a wonderful example. While just a year old and in mint condition, the voice is already mature and vibrant. The wide grain Sitka Spruce top put outs abundant bass and trebles that zing across the room. This guitar of course loves to play blues and rags, but it's one of the most versatile designs and can easily handle Celtic, Traditional, Old Time or anything else you wish to throw at it.

Thanks...I did know about the scalloped bracing but wasn't sure if there was anything else other than that. We live about 40 minutes from the Martin factory & scoot up there occasionally. That's where I heard the regular 000-28 & the EC. This one sounds warmer.

The main differences are that the EC has scalloped bracing and a larger v shaped neck. Martin has made quite a few different EC guitars besides the production 28 though.

I played one of these ... It was the nicest guitar i had ever played ... But i haven't plpayed a whole lot of guitars ...

its got a lot of martin splatter..great for performance or thru the board finger picking..where it can be focused and processed a little..georgy boy got them magic digits..ive played some magic 80 dollar guitars made out of god knows what that can really sing..if you've got it..almost anything will do..if you don't ..just keep on saying charge it please...or my wife just don't know nothing bout the epic intellect of struggling musicians
