this peter is actually realistic asf i’m in high school and that whole stereotype of the ‘nerd’ who reads books with glasses and has 0 friends doesn’t exist. even introverts act more like this than the original peter parker. i think this is way more relatable and common

The movies themselves weren't the best imo, but Andrew's portrayal just had so much energy and realism. He feels so down to earth, just like I've always thought Spidey should have. I'm honestly more excited to see him in NWH than I am Maguire (if that's what's happening).

What I appreciate about this scene is it shows Garfields Peter testing his new abilities and pushing the boundaries of what he thinks he can do vs what he can do. Basic skateboarding enhanced with his strength, his climbing and handstands up to him sticking on the wall. Just him slowly seeing the extent of his power. Don't get me wrong, I like Mcguire. But you don't really see that progression. Climbs a wall, jumps some buildings and smacks a billboard. Which is good. Still one of my favorite movies. But this scene really shows peter in a state of discovery and expansion of knowlegde.
