I think one of the problems for women who start on steroids is that the muscularity they want comes on very quickly but the bad side effects are like a frog in a pot of water on a stove, by the time they notice how hot the water is getting it is too late.

I've read the changes to a woman's face from steroid use are permanent as the steroid use causes jawbone growth that doesn't reduce after steroids are stopped.

Two of my friends from 30 years ago are dead due to heartfailure. They were part of my group that hit the gym. They were also the only two who became VERY big. Nice straight up guys who were exploring the limits of their body and pushed the boundries. I was just fit but nothing special. And now they are gone and I'm in the end of my 40's the other guys were 5 years older then me. It sucks, but on the other hand I respect their choices and they knew the risk. Sad though.
