Ghost is Angry at the Queen! (Oracle Engine Dialogue, Week 17) | Destiny 2

After last week's... um, revelation, and the Queen's absence in her court, I was kinda expecting a less-than-usual conversation after turning in this week's Oracle Offering. Seems Ghost is a little peeved at the Queen's lack of answers. Some shots were fired, haha. I'm assuming this will bleed over into our next visit with the Queen in a couple of weeks, so expect some more fireworks, I guess.

I always hated how arrogant Mara was. She was born of the Traveler's sacrifice just like any Guardian. The only reason she took the steps she did in "becoming the first" was luck and ego. She takes "pity" on the Traveler, a god that "makes endless sacrifices out of it's people". And what did you do for your crew?
Granted, her revealing herself when that one Fallen House was passing through the Reed saved us and again when she decided to take on Oryx and his Dreadnaught. But that doesn't excuse the arrogance.
Take Saint-14, for example. The dude is incredibly kind and mighty. He prides himself to the point where he says that if it wasn't for the Guardian, the Battle of Twilight Gap could've been lost. And in his defense, he is renowned for being possibly the greatest Titan to have ever lived. Hell, even the Vex had their respect for him headbutted into their metal body. But she just acts high and mighty with the utmost contempt. Always infuriated me.

So eventually she did come back with something like: “everything I do is for a future that benefits you!” But, if you read the Lore or watch someone who’ll give you a rundown’ you learn this A-hole; who got her race nearly squadwiped by the dreadnaught, knew her brother was going insane and didn’t care. Got put in the ascendant plane purposefully so she could take the osmium throne from Oryx after we killed him in our plane of existence and then in his throne world, which is the dreadnaught. So yeah that’s a lie.

lowkey agree with some points. She claims she has her master plan, and that it revolves around us, but she literally doesn't tell us shit. How are we to blame? She also only responds once every 3 weeks.
