Actually in the time she was alive it would have been pretty normal for people to share rooms (or something even beds) especially while travelling. Only the very wealthy could have afforded private rooms. Privacy is a pretty modern custom. Also many puritan communities practiced “bundling” among couples who weren’t married yet but were in serious courtships. The idea was they’d spend the night together in the woman’s family’s house, but one of the was ‘bundled’ into a sack with only their heads picking out to prevent sex. It was a way for the couple to get to know each other better before marriage.

Pateience writes "sin" on the wall in blood byt Sam's dad thinks its Sam. By the end of the episode they just tell patience that the dad and gf got married ehen she wasn't looking and she comments that they need to make tons of babies immediately lol
