The oil market doesn't work that way. The spot market is driven by refineries adjusting inventories to meet regional demand. Oil pricing is a nation to nation deal. Once an oil deal has been agreed upon the mandates are designated to execute the deal. None of that goes through the commodity market

Well, of course, fewer crude ships are going to China. It all goes via pipeline direct from the supplier, Russia. Don't worry.
