Find Area of the Shaded Region of a Rectangle Using Polynomials

In this video I walk through a step by step process to determine the area of the shaded region on the larger rectangle. This is done by using the F.O.I.L method to determine each rectangles area. Once we know what each rectangles area is, we then subtract the smaller from the larger, leaving us with the shaded area of the large rectangle.
