Lemon Pepper Baked Chicken Thighs Recipe - Easy Chicken Recipe

This lemon pepper baked chicken thighs recipe makes a great easy family dinner. The chicken is juicy, tender and packed with flavor.

INGREDIENTS
2 to 2.5 lbs bone in skin on chicken thighs
1 whole lemon juice
1 Tbs lemon pepper seasoning
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
4 Tbs butter ( divided among chicken thighs)

Brief direction
* Preheat oven to 400 F
* Place chicken thighs unto baking sheet
* Squeeze lemon juice unto chicken thighs and set aside
* Combine all spices and salt
* Sprinkle spice mixture unto both sides of chicken
* Top each chicken with butter
* Bake chicken for 40 to 45 minutes. If using chicken breast only bake for 25 to 30 minutes
* Enjoy!!!!

Looked great. One trick I figured out some years ago is to cook the chicken pieces skin side down about 2/3rds of the way, then flipping over to finish. Reason is the skin will help to keep the chicken meat more moist this way. Than when you flip skin side up it allows the rendered fats to drain out allowing the skin to crisp up. I'm typically grilling over charcoal but it works the same in the oven. Everyone have a great day 🌤 😊
