I'd be interested to know why the sky was white. Was it just cloudy? Did the raw vlog capture blue or white?

Even with colour grading if the sky wasn't blue there's no way to make it blue.

Great job! Was the first part of the video, where you are talking, also made with the Xiaomi 14 Ultra? I ask because I still wonder about its depth of field and background blur, without using the "Cinematic" digital feature. What do you have to say about the background blur ability in videos with this cell phone?

The DNG RAW from the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has more than 14 stops of dynamic range, which is a lot more than what you showcased here.

I tried to use LOG with my 14 ultra and I can't bring the colors to look any good. What sort of LUT did you use to convert LOG to Rec709? Also, did you also struggle with the variable frame rate while trying to edit the clips? I find it unfortunate. Providing feature such as LOG while having to constantly convert the footage into constant frame rate seems irracional.

Any idea what thr bitrate is on the log footage? I feel that's often one of the differences between say phone footage and a proper camera. I wish android phones had more options when it comes to codecs and bitrates

Waiting for Xiaomi 15 Ultra but I will use my 14 Ultra until it comes out.I hope the next one has less heating issues though
