Oscilloscope Bode plots just got better!

In this video, Johnnie demonstrates the enhanced capabilities of the InfiniiVision Frequency Response Analysis application. The FRA app allows you to understand how your device responds to various frequency inputs in the form of a Bode plot.

The enhancements include user defined frequency windows, a finer points per division setting, improved marker functionality, and more. This all helps you get a much more accurate understanding of how your device is responding.

Hi Johnnie I am trying to find the webinar you gave a couple of years ago on FRA and Bode plots. I checked the keysight site and cannot find anything. I attended it and it was great.

I did pretty much the same experiment with a bandpass filter just after getting the update for my DSOX1102G.
It makes the FRA much more useful for us audio people.

Julian Ilett also has a DSOX1102G (which Keysight gave to him) and is about to build a bunch of sharp bandpass filters for his Vocoder project.
He didn't find the original version of the software terribly useful for his purposes so hopefully he does the update and uses it in one of his future videos.

I've checked the release notes for 2.50 firmware (latest) for DSOX3024A, but it doesn't mention FRA option at all.

A year ago I did a quick test using the FRA feature, besides being really good for SMPS controllers, testing audio circuits are usefull too, here I did a quick demo on a Linkwitz Transformer,
demo shows how low frequencies gain progressively increases in the subsonic bands and phase and progressively decreases as the frequency increases plots clearly show this behavior.
