Aussi built plate alloy are by far superior to anything else. Super tough with flooding ballast tanks for stability at rest. You really can’t beat it.

Ive been driving an aluminum boat since 1992. They need maintenance over time but I think not as often as their fiberglass counterparts...

Inflatable all day. Light (14ft is about 100lb), extremely stable on water, compact when stored for winter.

I have owned several of both over the years and have enjoyed both. I just bought a RT198P aluminum 19 ft 8 in. with a 150. This is my favorite so far, but we don't fish the great lakes.
