Google Nexus 4 review: HD video sample

Listen to the audio from the Galaxy Nexus. It sounds very different. Much clearer. This thing sounds horribly muffled. Really the best way to describe it is sounding overly compressed.

yh i think it is just a issue on this phone all the other video samples on youtube sound alright, not amazing but alright

Am I missing something here? What's so bad about the audio? The 1st clip there's something boiling on the stove, the 2nd clip is OUTSIDE, there's going to be noise outside. Damn people, it's a PHONE that CAN double as a recorder, not the other way around

Well then why look at reviews if you will buy phones regardless of how horrible they perform. Just pick a brand and a os at random and just buy, buy, buy

That mic sounds disgusting. I hope there's just some really weird/poor/fixable software compression happening there. Otherwise that's a huge disappointment.
