This video is a 3-minute guide for Prospector Mining intended for new players that are just getting started with mining. I cover the basics to get you out breaking rocks in a stock Prospector without having to worry about changing out lasers or gadgets.

Fun fact: only need to store ship for volatile time-sensitive ore (quantainium). For anything else you could just park on a pad for a quicker run to the refinery 👍

I appreciate the information as well as the links to some cheat sheets for even more info and your playlist on it all. I’ve played star citizen for years but never done anything significant in terms of making money, really just jump on and go fight some stuff or go do a box mission or two.

Tried mining in the past but all my effort would be like 16K and I thought I had known what I was doing. So randomly last night I’m like hey fk it, let’s go learn and go hard into mining. Love the videos! Great knowledge and good detail too

Can I ask you something? I haven't really gotten into SC yet because of the infamous SERVER WIPES. What happens to all the money and/or ships I acquire during a normal playthrough? If the wipe comes, does the game allow you to keep any of that?

I just got this ship and I found those gemstone and found out quick not to use with the normal mining head.. Let me ask so do we use the pryro Multi tool to mine those Gems?🤔 Thanks in advance...😊

Seems Celin Quantanium is GONE. Been mining it forever on Celin but now can't find any, did they just rebalance? Any updates?
