Arthur spoke to him better than people who treated folk like him in 1899

I somehow got stun-locked in a punch up with Bertram. All I could do was watch as Bertram kicked seven shades of sh** out of me.

It wasn't the tb that killed Arthur, it was Bertram's killer comeback

"Friend!" he doesn't know the impending doom that is about to destroy him

0:06 I wouldn't have the heart to be mean to Bertram after he called me his friend.

Also, no one can come up with a better comeback than "I know you are, but what am I?" Good job, Bertram.

He’s so cute, I can’t do it, he’s so nice and friendly. I feel 10x bad, I don’t mind going on a 1000ppl spree, but Bertram, no.

I was doing good up until 0:49, when he started running and was screaming "I DON'T WANT TO PLAY ANYMORE!"

I find it hilarious that Bertram was already up and walking away and Arthur just said “you heard me get up”

I’m over here literally shouting "kick his arse Bertram" when he started standing up.

The sad part is that bertram is based on a real person. Schlitzie was a sideshow performer from an early age, he was born with Microcephaly, Myopia, and a Severe Intellectual Disability, its also believed these were part of seckel syndrome. It was he had the Cognition of a three year okd and was unable to care for himself and only knew how to speak in monosyllabic words and short phrases. Though he able to do simple tasks and understand others, he was frequently billed as a “pinhead” or presented as an aztec woman. He was featured in the 1932 movie “freaks” which boosted his popularity.
Schlitzie was adopted by a Chinpanzee Handler name George Surtees in 1935 and performed his final role in 1941. He would be hospitalized for a time in the 60s and then did some final sideshow works until 1968. He died in 1971 at age 70.
