As if praising his press secretary was not enough, he thanked his spouse and kid for their sacrifices, what a great boss and human being.

He even remembered to thank his family. Recognized that they made sacrifices too. That’s how you know President Obama is a genuinely good human being.

You can see by the way Josh looks at Obama during this speech that he has a lot of respect for his boss, and how much this acknowledgement meant to him. This is how a real president acts.

It hurts him that this amazing man is everything he’s not.

You can tell this was not a “prepared speech” but instead genuinely from his heart. Say what you want about Obama the “President or Politician” but Obama the “PERSON” was empathetic, observant, approachable, kind, admirable, compassionate to/with his Team. It shows in all of his press conferences when speaking of them!! I would take that ANY day over what we’ve had as a President this last term.
