WWE is no stranger to bringing in current and former professional athletes, and Pat McAfee may be one of their biggest home runs ever. So it got me wondering, which current NFL players are built for WWE? I've got some ideas.

If we are including potential managers, Brady would be the perfect smarmy heel manager. I also don’t know why, but Stafford screams top babyface to me. Lastly, while I know he hasn’t played in the last few years, Vontaze Burfict could be a good monster heel

AB in WWE would either be the best thing ever, or the worst. There is no in between. With how Vince is, I think they could pull him if they wanted to, but I don't think they will because of the bad publicity

Btw, it looks like Pat McAfee is going to have his third match (or fourth match if you count the one with Vince McMahon as an actual match) at SummerSlam against Baron Corbin (Pat wrestled Adam Cole in NXT, Austin Theory at WrestleMania and Vince McMahon at that same WrestleMania) also it seems like Pat might be in the same role that Jerry "The King" Lawler was in before his heart attack and Taz was early in his run as a commentator as the color commentator who occasionally gets in the ring... Although the difference between Pat and Lawler and Taz is that Lawler and Taz were approaching the twilight of their careers as active wrestlers, and now Lawler is only brought out whenever WWE is in Memphis and Taz is a commentator/manager in AEW

I know I’m late to the party but I’d like to contribute some other names if you wind up doing a part 2:
Stefon Diggs, I think he’s got the personality and certainly plenty of athleticism
Antonio Brown, would make such a great heel (I mean cmon, that quote he had where he was like “I regret not getting to watch Antonio Brown play” I mean cmon, HEEL.) and he’s a freak of nature
Travis and Jason Kelce would be such a fun tag team. The undeniable chemistry and charisma they both have on their podcast screams WWE for me. Plus that could bring back some much needed prestige to the tag division
