Is the 2023 Honda Pilot the King of the Carpool Lane?

Today we are looking at the 2023 Honda Pilot or the so-called King of The Carpool Lane!!

The reason why they are calling it the King of The Carpool lane it’s because of its spacious interior and flexible seating. I am so thankful to Frank Leta here in St. Louis for letting us tour this car this morning. This Honda Pilot is the elite all-wheel drive vehicle with a MSRP of $53000. Let’s do a deep dive to see if this vehicle really deserves the name “King of The Carpool”!

I bought one today. The trunk lid comes off because it’s reversible and you can put it in the bottom of that storage area for more trunk space. I love it!

Thank you for calling out Honda on the lack of ceiling vents!! I have a 2021 Pilot and my kids hate it because of no ceiling vents! It’s so hard for kids to get air when it’s located in the middle, especially kids I car seats!! I hope Honda listens to you!!

This review hit the nail on the head! LOVE everything you called out and LOVED your energy!! I'm excited to get my Pilot! I used to have a 2018 Odyssey before it was stolen and loved it. Now that my kids are older we''re opting not to repurchase the Odyssey but instead to get this pilot for the next phase in life now that my kiddos are able to open and close car doors.

As a current Honda owner I have been waiting for the release of this Pilot! Your reviews are fantastic and super helpful for this father to be! I love almost everything about it. That 9inch screen has me dumbfounded given the price and what the direct competition in Kia, Hyundai and Toyota offer from a tech perspective. Like it looks like that dash is made ready to take the 12in screen they introduced in the 23 accord. But they didn’t… The space and practicality of everything else though is very appealing. What didn’t get touched on in this review was the addition of HUD and the Bose sound system. This new pilot has pretty much everything, but that screen!
