It looks so much better than the last one. I think it is an amazing family hauler and the new looks definitely help keep it up to date. It looks a bit more muscular and while it is another boring SUV that looks really similar to all the other ones floating around, I think Honda did a good job. At least it is a huge improvement from their other designs which were about a interesting as C-SPAN

I bought the Sport AWD. I liked the seat fabric it reminds me of black jeans with the orange stitching. I live in the south leather isn’t very comfortable in summer.

Not having a hybrid engine is a plus for me. Hondas will last, with repairs trickling in at the 9-year mark. A V-6 means an engine that has not had to strain itself over the long run and no hybrid engine means no expensive battery to replace.

Always wondered why the EX-L trim on the Pilots and Passports don’t come with roof rails/crossbars but the lower cost Sport trim has them and look much more premium. The EX-L looks like the base trim.

Had an 04 Pilot that never let me down. It was comfortable and very reliable to the point that its still in the family to this day. I sold it to my sister who ended up driving it nearly 24 hours down to Florida when she moved her family down to Tampa. They also have a 2019 Sorento but they still choose to use the Pilot the majority of the time as it's more spacious and has a nicer ride despite being almost 20 years old

I like the exterior styling, but I hate the MPG. No hybrid? Seriously? There's no point in not offering a hybrid powertrain, even if it's just an option. For the money, I'd get something either more capable or something with better fuel economy, or both.

I am expecting a Trailsport in late March. I went with this trim for a few reasons...it's nicely equipped for camping and light backroad exploring; but also outfitting an EX-L with roof rails and bars, a 2" hitch, and tires that can handle some gravel pretty much account for the cost difference (~$3K). I would prefer better fuel mileage from this Pilot though.

It’s a class leader because it’s a Honda. They transcend the segment. This shows that only Honda and Acura can give truly stiff competition to genesis Hyundai Kia. No other Asian automaker can afford to have such status.

Waiting for Honda to upgrade to electronic stick shift like bmw/nissan and upgrade interior like civic/CRV. May be they’ll do it in couple years… had to reserve something for mid cycle refresh 🤦‍♂️
