As a recovering addict(anything that wasnt in a needle) the realization that there is a group of humans that literally mean, "You are not in trouble", which translates to, "you WILL be here tomorrow whether you like it or not".

I love EMTs so much honestly theyre awesome. The EMTs taking care of my dad when I called 911 when I was nine were so sweet to me. Every interaction with any EMTs since has been nothing but good tbh, and they’re so fucking chill. I assume bc they’ve seen EVERYTHING.

EMTs tell you to drink it slowly because your body can go into shock, and that will need further medical intervention. They don't want to treat one problem after the other.

I had my first experience with a concert emt recently. I have POTs and I'm temp sensitive and it was an outside standing concert. Never have I felt so taken care of by a medical professional in my life. So thank all the concert emts for doing these events. I appreciate you.

Ketamine has improved so many people's lives. One of my patients was a star athelete but began having MASSIVE amounts of pain, mind you he was an athelete that did massive impact sports and wasn't a complainer with abroken bone.
Guy was only 19 and became immobile and the depression/weight gain blew his mind. Nicest person in the world, he'd break my heart with his upbeat spirit. The ketamine infusion was the only thing that brought him peace from pain.

Before I left this patient was walking and able to start weight management. God bless those that fight for these pain relief managements, they work.
