18:41 Solution: Add extra waiting time after channel becomes clear, to account for time delay. Assume that at some distance D between node 2 and node 4, node 2's transmission will no longer REACH node 4, and therefore at that distance D node 4 doesn't need to wait for node 2. The extra time delay depends on link quality.

2:38 Unclear. If a channel can support X bps, then anytime anyone broadcasts on that channel, they can broadcast at X bps. Right?
