I am a mother and I honestly don’t know how to sit down and relax when I’m sick. I just can’t relax, knowing that the house is dirty and my kids are hungry. My husband does help a lot when I’m sick, but I just have a hard time letting him do certain things like the dishes because he doesn’t do them the way that I like them done. I’m very grateful to have my hubby though.

My mom becomes a huge baby when she's sick and won't do anything meanwhile when I'm sick she acts like I'm not at all.

Yes and when dad is sick and mum isnt he'll hang around her so she gets sick.
He also never covers his nose/mouth while coughing and sneezing in any room even the kitchen.

When mum isnt here the fridge is empty, the house is a mess (my sister is allergic to dust) and we have no one to talk to, its great to live with an abusive dad but because its subtle and 'normal' behaviour for men i always get told 'thats normal. Why are you do upset' or similar.
