So, Roebuck for me doesn't feel like a part of a hoofed build. Its specific - it targets plot, not an animal. you can have up to 9 Shrews on a plot, with a mouse-rabbit family. On top of that they would be reproducing like mad, so there is a chance that even roebuck will not keep up with them. Mouse-rabbit family also brings Jerry, which makes everyone adjacent - which, in turn, makes Death Worm and Four legged beasts even stronger.
For what you tried to do, imo, the best would have been the Snow Leopard from the predator family, it gets x2 of eaten hoofed animal permanently. So, even if it doesn't eat adjacent to four legged beast, it's not a catastrophe unlike the roebuck which will bankrupt you otherwise.
On top of that, predator family would've played better into the strength of your chosen god - if you would've purchased wolf, you could feed it with lambs, that grow up into sheep, alpacas and goats, you even was offered a pen that automatically generates lambs. Wolf doesn't eat alpacas, so you eventually would end up with a full board of alpacas that have a nice stacking item in the shop.

As for your income issue - the big thing you are missing is bottom left toy - it gives 1 food per 5 removals. Roebuck goes brrr.
small things - stage 3 - free lunch in the shop. stage 6 - rolled past black store. when you are doing well, it's free real estate, stage 7 - shovel. You would've made your money back in 12 days and you played way more than that. At stage 10 - you got second secret envelope in the shop. if you would've purchased that you could've made profit from reselling things back to shop. I also like poisonous fangs for the death worm - it allows you to keep stacking poison.

Personally, my god of choice for this map is Liliya with the Guardian aura - saves a lot of headache to protect key pieces from destroying each other or being destroyed by baboon.

my 0 effort build is
hoofed famaly buff lvl1 + as many alpacas as possilbe
then get jerry and try to get the perk that makes alpacas stack but its not realy needed if your only goal is just a win

Wasn't there a catgod that let you keep a creature on the board? Target that on the deathworm and fill the board with self replicating ants?

Hoofed Beast passive change idea, +30% on failure to chance to gain a hoofed beast, reset on success. That would help prevent this loss of steam effect.

Boar build isnt very entertaining. I'd rather drill a deep hole in a wooden structure or traverse a crowd than play it!

Maybe if the roebuck let you choose what to sell? That would be adding a whole new mechanic to the game though. Or if there was a cat god with a similar targeted ability.
Simply an item that buffed Growth lvl 3 would be nice too.
