I have made shafts, fletching from wild turkey wings and metal heads. My method was quite a bit slower than yours and the quaility of my product was suspect. Regardless of my short comings I managed to win my fair share of major traditional tournaments using a recure and my favorite longbow.I was mostly a hunter and hunted every chance I got. Here I am 81 years old and can no longer pull back a 45LB bow much less my favorite 55LB bow but I had my day. I enjoyed your video!

You do know you can just buy round sticks in the gardening section of your local hardware store!

I had a friend lose two fingers running a stick through a planer that way. Shit happens in a blinding moment. Use a push stick.
