Yeah I have arthritis so thicker picks just work better for me. Also! Some of your short vids inspired me to try a thicker pick. Currently using a 3mm Dunlop ultex flow

Thickness is one thing. Other vey important factor is shape of the tip. I find fast picking much harder with picks with rounded tips. Tip needs to be sharp cutted for comfortable playing - at least for me.

The thickest pick I own a Dunlop Gator Grip 2mm. I'll try and find the one you're using if luck is on my side.

I bought a mid-tech Ares and I am currently waiting for it to be delivered. The only thing I am concerned about, when using these thicker picks, is playing rhythm.
