This meme first made me realize how fucking metal Moby Dick actually is.
Ahab who had his leg bitten off by what is essentially a sea monster now walks around on the bones of the beast's kin in a monomaniacal quest for revenge. Falling into a spiral of paranoia that dooms both him and his crew. He meets his end by mortally wounding his nemesis and being dragged down into the depths of the ocean by the harpoons rope coiled around his leg. Only one member of his crew survives to tell the tale.

This meme's like a decade old I never expected to see a remaster, though fr this is some legendary work so I hope the algorithm is gracious with it

I was trying to remake it but realistified, so I started remaking every frames in photoshop with realistic textures and everything but I quickly realized it was too much time and work. I'm glad you made this, it looks really great, and it's nice to see old memes having a second life !

I love the redraw, but the original has such a rough and aggressive style to it that is missing from this version. The og art style *looks* violent. It is scratchy, the lines arent clean, the edges arent straight... it adds just an extra layer of emotion to it, that I personally adore
