Those Dark Energy cymbals really are sonic diamonds... the perfect mix of clarity, definition and and a slightly darker wash overall. I heard Chad Wackerman in the 90's with Holdsworth and it was a truly amazing gig.

Chad is an amazing musician.Saw him play over here in Australia many times. They are beautiful sounding cymbals and the drums are fabulous. You could clearly play that set up in many different styles of music and it would blend in. And the guy is very humble considering what a monster of a musician he is . Says a lot about a person. One of my favourite Drummers.

I saw and heard Chad with Carl Verheyen and Alphonso Jonsson in Sweden a year ago. Never heard a more powerful and at the same time relaxed drummer live. A small room too and close up seats so we could really hear his sound.

My god: chad as always tasty as hell. There are only a few drummer, who catch me emotionally with there style, Chad is one of them. And the DE are simply beautiful. Im playing the Darks in 15/17/19 for 15 years and i will never change.

wonderful Chad! and of course, wonderful Paiste cymbals sound. The first time i listened to Metal fatigue, really, i was surprised how wonderful sounded all set by Wackermann : for sure in '84 Chad was one step foward to everyone! Later, i had the opportunity to see Chad playing live in Roma, touring with Holdsworth; in that time his set was with 3 mini splash, little differente size, in reality they looks as mini china with those Wackermann obtained an incredible colour into his drumming. I understood how it was possible to play The devil takes in the hindmost! fantastic! of course it was not the only occasion where it was possible to see Chad playing with Allan. Different set cymbals but always incredible sound and performance. Thanks Paiste. Thanks Chad Wackermann
