Watch this amazing compilation of T cells (small round white cells) battling cancer cells (bigger dark cells) captured with our holotomographic microscopes. Who will win?!

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝗧 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹?
T cells are a type of immune cell, or white blood cell. They mature in the thymus, which is why they are called "T cells".

𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗧 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀?
There are different types of T cells, and cytotoxic or "killer" T cells can kill cells infected by bacteria or viruses, as well as cancerous cells in the right conditions. Cancer cells can resist attack, and fight back, which is why immunotherapies like CAR-T therapy are being developed, to help patients fight off cancer.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀?
This technique is known as holotomography. Nanolive imaging platforms use the intrinsic refractive properties of cells and their organelles to image them without labels. The higher an object or material’s refractive index, the brighter it appears here, so we can see the differences between different cells and their contents.

See, this is what governments of the world should be taking action on, instead wasting all that money and destroying sacred life through wars!

One T-Cell look like it almost paid the price as a C-Cell grabbed on to it. Or so it seemed.
