The noise suppression essentially was working as a compressor, attacking the transients making the signal sounds fuller but also cutting the release a little changing the feel of the Rythm

I used to do a lot that that thing of lo fi, is personal preference in this case im not sure if i like it, but it certainly adds texture and complexity to the song wich may keep the listener engaged

I heard the difference and it’s awesome! The problem with Waves plugins is you have to pay for it every time to renew it and to have the budget.

JJ is one of the few mixers after Pensado to have a very very good reason for every move they make when mixing and can explain why… so many mixing tutorials and it’s generic reasoning… sometimes even just bullshit reasoning… they’re just twisting knobs until it sounds better.

Noise suppressor is acting as a transient shaper.

The noise plugin takes away the low in makes the loop tighter and gives it more mid range at least to my ears. It also feels wider

NS1 is one of my favorite by waves, amazing for applications like this but also vocals, but i prefer c-vox by universal audio.
