Did You Know In X-MEN: FIRST CLASS…

During Professor Xavier’s presentation on the human genetic mutation at the CIA, you can actually see the origin of the X-Men logo in the left hand image of his final side projection. It’s an x-ray crystallography of the DNA molecule which Dr. Crick and Watson discovered. Interestingly, during rehearsals, when James McAvoy saw his double walk on set, he stopped rehearsing, walked over to him, and bear hugged him. When Jennifer Lawrence asked why he hugged him like he knew him, James mentions that it was the same double that worked with him on The Conspirator.

Actually Rosalind Franklin since it's an X-ray crystallogram (i don't know if thats the right word in englisch but it describes the crystalline structure of molecules) Watson and Crick used her "pictures" which I think is the one portrait there.

But I still find it cool that they used a picture.

The X-Men are the people who work for Professor X, i.e. Charles Xavier. So the X just stands for his last name, Xavier

It's not a dna representation. It is just a crystal diffraction pattern. Xray crystallography of dna molecule 😂😂. DNA and chromosome are two different things don't draw conclusions from this.

Wow Another incredibly obvious “fact”.

Isn't the mutation gene on the X chromosome? I thought that's why they were called that.
