How to KILL the T29 with the Tiger II in War Thunder

If you have ever played the Tiger II in War Thunder you have probably faced a T29 before and realised how hard they are to kill. This is a short video discussing what you can do to them.

As a tiger 2 h user, this will be useful

Long 88 goes straight through the mantlet if they are facing you straight on, it’s happened to me multiple times in the t29

as a t29 user if it's angled to it's right where the frontal machine gun faces away from you, you can shoot the flat part of the buldge of the machine gun It's only about 100mm the lower plate is the most fragile part at around 110m, if only the turret faces out from my experience It's almost invulrenable if it's not a close encounter you can shoot to your left of it's mantlet just above the mantlet as the man said but to more of the left, it's a bigger target

However the tiger 2 ran out of gas half way to the fight and then got straiffed.

you can for the most part shoot right below the track part of the upper plate and hit ammo and crews

I always go for mg port, cupola, and lower front plate for all tanks.😂😂😂

A king tiger has a sub 8 second reload with an expert crew just shoot the barrel and the t29 probably won’t be able to retreat and you can hit the lower glacis for a one shot

I shot the MG port in AMX-13. Let me tell you 2-3 shots just auto bounces off it, and I had to go for the lower glacias 😀. FUN SGGSHDHDJD. TBH was funny asf tho.

In my experience of the T-29, shoot the underpart of the side, its like 1mm thick for some reason

The problem is that the tiger 2 turret face is much bigger and a 100%kill every time, so the T29 will get its shot in much faster, and kill the tiger 2 pretty much all the time. Then it does not matter that the tiger can kill the T29 if it aim carefully and are lucky with your hit.

you can shoot the mantlet at close enough range too, i had countless encounter with T29s and T34s where i just shot the mantlet off of overconfident american mains, this tactic however does not work on T32s

You can also shoot machine gun port in the Turret which kills him directly if it pens

Ima stick to shooting the machine gun port and lower plate i dont think I can aim for the upper turret

Turret ring on the t29 is the easiest place I kill it on as a tiger 2
