How Triads UNLOCK The Fretboard

In today's guitar lesson, we'll be learning about triads and how they tie everything together to make everything on the guitar fretboard make sense. We'll start with our combined scale shape that includes the major scale, the minor scale, the major pentatonic scale, the minor pentatonic scale, and the blues scale. From here, we'll identify every diatonic triad shape from the key. I'll also show you how this all works in other keys and how you can find even more triad shapes in other scale positions on the fretboard. I really like your approach to Triads. I have been watching many different videos over the past few months and you are the first one to show all of the Triads in a fixed position. I started out playing "Hey Joe" on the 2, 3, 4 string set. I made up a few songs of my own too. I am now working on learning both horizontal and vertical inversions of major and minor chords on all string sets. I try to play simple songs with these patterns and they sound awesome! Last week I started improvising with the patterns I learned in this lesson; it sounded really good. Very inspiring. Looking forward to mastering triads because I realize how useful they can be. Thanks!
