I think the issue with Toyota is the MSRP have gotten way to high. I have a 2017 Corolla SE that was $21k new and that’s the mid trim with partial Softex seats and everything. Now the Corolla starts at 22k and for a XSE Corolla now gets really close to $30k. I’ll always buy Toyotas but I’ve never been able to buy a NEW. Shoot I got my Corolla for $15k with under 50k miles in 2021

People are reassessing what they want to spend their money on! These car prices are defiantly not it

I bought my first mazda in 2015 (6 sedan) and barely noticed any on the road in TX except for the CX-5. Now I see alot of MX-5, CX-5, CX 30, CX 50 and slowly seeing more CX 90s

Mazdas marketing a lot more, which contributes but generally people are beginning to trust Mazdas like they do Toyota or Honda, on social media many people are strongly promoting their Mazdas for their almost luxury interior and ride and great reliability… people are more receptive to them now and they are in people’s radar.

Mazda has the best interest rate in the game, just got a cx90 for 1.9% and they also offer 0 and .9% for other models and terms and their warranty not that bad 6 year 100k miles. Overall no other company is competitive in that aspect

I’ll tell ya why Toyota sells are down. Dealer mark ups. They advertise a price, then add 4 or 5 thousand dollars of BS on top of the deal. It’s a nightmare.

It's great to see Mazda being successful. I've been enjoying my 2023 Mazda3 Turbo HB for over a year and I love it. They deserve the success.

Just bought last December Mazda cx-90, my son also bought cx-90 a couple of months ago. Rhe craftsmanship, quality, handling, and fun to drive are only comparable to BMW . Suspension is a little stiffer, firmed, and is like glued to the ground, just like BMW . Mazda CX-90 may compete with BMW, Mercedes, Audi.

In my country Mazda CX-5 is USD $40, 000 (quite full option). While Toyota Corolla Cross with 1.8L hybrid gen 4 (121ps combine) without electric parking brake, no premium sound system, no heated seat, and Torsion beam at rear selling at the same price 😂😂 while CX-5 is AWD

I know several people that just don't want to go and fight at the dealership. They're keeping vehicles longer. I think the automotive companies/dealerships are reaping the results of what has been a seller's market for the past few years.

20 minutes ago I passed Empire Mazda in Huntington NY. There are CX-5s and CX-50s packed on every available piece of land in lots all over surrounding the dealership. I've never seen anything like this. Empire Subaru was packed door handle to door handle. These are good cars and they're sitting.

Toyota charging premiums over MSRP is reason Mazda is doing so well

My wife is looking for a Prius replacement. May wait to see Mazda's offering
